Year End Discussion? When?

When are we supposed to have year end discussions with our manager? No one on my team has had one with our manager.

I remembered that my year end review turned into them telling me I was laid off. The +2 manager knew the review was fake (it was regarding projects I wasn't assigned to or working on) and both of us didn't cover it. I had just trained 3 of my offshored replacements. If this is efficiency -- my azz.

No one in management really cares about year-end discussions. Your manager wants you to quit or he will demoralize you until you do.

Hope your job doesn’t involve figuring things out for yourself..

here's a thought, ask your manager or do a search on Teamworks for performance reviews which will pull up the entire timeline. the earliest your manager is supposed to give you your perf review is Jan 10 but no later than Jan 30. they can officially click submit in workday until Jan 10. They try to make these conversations separate from compensation discussions which shouldn't happen until late January

The entire performance time line is on Teamworks, including salary and bonus payout dates.
