Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Sloan seeks $34 million and damages for emotional distress?!!

You can't make schitt up folks. A guy who was #2 at Wells for 20 or 30 years, claims emotional distress and needs his $34 mil in bonus and stock grants to make ends meet?! Must have missed a yacht payment? The Southern Cal beach house needs a 7 figure remodel?!

  1. This S-B is tone deaf and entirely out of touch with the rest of the rank and file who worked and suffered there during the sales practices scandal. Wow! Anyone who had to go through this era of misery who had nothing to do with it, should get a check for a minimum of $1 mil for emotional distress, pain, embarrassment, and suffering, and paid for life long access to counseling for working under so many narcissists and god dammed incompetent fools who were joked about on late night talk shows in the Fall of 2016. What a JOKE!
  2. This guy made MILLIONS during his years at Wells, and shows you how disgustingly greedy these Wall Street Executives are during that era, but also post Sloan era. They all live a life of luxury and will have a cushy, stress free retirement while many others who worked there, won't. Then we have to have the rank and stink of having Wells on our resume for the rest of our lives, while the company claims they're so compassionate and thoughtful, you gotta be shi!!ting me!!!!
  3. Many of these executives that presided over this should be in a federal penitentiary, they all claim the culture and scandals weren't their fault, if not who's fault was it?!
  4. It shows you that top executives in Wall Street companies get to collect and get paid millions while the rest of the employees pay the consequences with layoffs, poor raises, and constant fear of being laid off. Victory has a 1,000 fathers, and defeat is an orphan.
  5. I a so grateful I left that toxic pittance of filth, hypocrisy and greed on my terms. What a disgusting workplace and culture.

Let me join his suit for my emotional distress. 35 years with the company and 2 years away from retirement and I got the ax. Can’t find another job. Now how is that for stress!

K, I want some money too. I am irrevocably changed for the worse as well as being considered damaged goods for having WF on my resume.

I couldn't have said it any better than the author of this post! Agree with you 💯. I regret returning after being displaced several years ago.

Couldn't agree more with OP.

Bile in my throat when I read article.

If he wins, we SHOULD file class action suit for simlaar reasons. There will be precedent.

What if we all get together and file a class action for current and former employees using the same basis of discovery? You think we’ll get that pizza party?🍕
