“ I’m a manger and my group may be losing our skilled jobs because of offshoring soon too.”

If it were a skilled job that required discreet expertise it would stay….its isn’t so it’s gone. Open your eyes and look in the mirror, reality is staring right back at you.

Whoever keeps assuming only Union employees are complaining about job loss are misinformed. I’m a manger and my group may be losing our skilled jobs because of offshoring soon too. I’m in agreement that too much work is being offshored, it is hurting the middle class and our communities. IT has already lost most of their jobs, are they unskilled too? You company trolls, slay me.

Human nature to complain but when people have living wages to compensate for inflationary prices most informed workers don’t care if it cost more to keep their jobs local. Funny how other countries use tariffs so they can compete against socialist and slave wages and products. Not against fair global trade and wages.

Ever wonder how foreign companies like Temu can sell things on their site at nearly 80% to 90% discount compared to any other business paying living wages? Hmmm, I wonder! Check them out, do your research and see if I’m wrong.

“ Those $7 an hour India employees will replaced by the $2 an hour Vietnamese employees, where does it stop? Globalization is just another form of indentured servitude for elite masters.”

Most ignorant quote of 2023 winner

Seems like corporate globalist want to use the clothing manufacturer and seafood model of producing clothing with kids and enslaving people for years on small fishing boats and never touching land. But hey, greed is all you care about, guess you can’t see the misery from your gated community.

Cost is all that matters for some people, how dare a group of employees negotiate their contract for work rules and benefits. That should only be reserved for the elite with their negotiated (contract) golden parachute despite their performance. Let’s be clear, the reason the company has an accelerated plan to sell assets, contract and offshore jobs is because of the massive debt caused by poor leadership decisions by incompetent CEO’s. Only ones paying the consequences is middle management employees down to the OA’s.

How is it working out for middle to lower level management without a contracts now? How do you feel that your leadership will leave with a full benefits, pension, and stock options?

When they say "go back in the office to collaborate", you get to call India. Typical two-faced nature of AT&T.

$40 per hour union employees crying because $7 per hour non union employees in India can do it without whining about the temperature of their office. Shocking.

American accounts along with American dollars going to foreign nations. This is not the way to do business in tough economic times.

They are offshoring jobs Americans don't want to do anyway. Especially not for the price we want to pay.

Already seeing it with other billing. As a customer, I feel less and less secure with overseas contractors having access to my SSPI. Visa, healthcare, our benefits, hospital billing- it is all being sent there. Hide behind a website and don’t take calls, but when they do, it’s attitude and severe language barriers. They also don’t have the deep product knowledge.

As an employee, it is frustrating to have departments you work often with leave, and then the flow is broken. They only do things one way and try to cram it all in that hole or they discontinue service. So even high dollar accounts finally leave. But somewhere someone creates a stupid metric that they manipulate to make it appear to be working! Just like RTO.

AT&T used to stand for American Telephone and Telegraph back in the day! Now it stands for Asia Telephone and Telegraph, might as well since all the jobs are going to India! It's just like American Express! There's nothing American about that company! Most of its employees are either from China, Japan or India...Asian Express!

Hate to see any jobs going overseas to support the company here. Hopefully they can find better employment elsewhere.
