Long rumored spin off of Alien Vault announcement went down today. Lots of unknown but so far all employees are no longer on AT&T payroll after it’s closed. Supposed to be a joint ownership with T and a venture capitol company WillJam Ventures. Start of transition is immediate and should close by Q1-24. No word on benefits or pay or much else yet. I don’t know why we would have a joint venture here but that’s maybe temporary. Might be scary to some but I’d be glad to spin out of T if I was over there. WillJam not a top player, to say the least. A no namer without very deep pockets. But 1,000 cyber staff lucked out to get pushed off this big att sheeiit show. Nowhere near enough lifeboats here to save the rest of us left.

These employees should throw a party. T destroyed this company and its employees. Just another company that T gutted and destroyed both momentum but more importantly their credibility in the cybersecurity space. Pathetic.

This move has been rumored for a long time....never heard of WillJam.....T could have been a leader in Cyber if it ever got behind it....best of luck to those involved...l
