On every other Tuesday, I block my Outlook calendar all day, set my Teams to busy all day, I block my manager's phone number and disable my voice mail.
My manager pinged me asking to get on a call with him. First thing I said when I picked up, I'm getting canned, correct? Uhhh yep! So don't think just because you didn't get a meeting request that u r safe.
Mine came the night before. working from home, I leave the computer on all the time. getting a drink, and I noticed I had a meeting with my manager scheduled for 8:30 AM the next day. Very vague, it didn't take sherlock holmes to figure out what was going to happen.
Calls have to conclude by 11PT.
I am in the West Coast. On Monday, my manager suddenly scheduled a 1on1 meeting for Tuesday 7:30am. The rest is history. I think you will have a meeting by 10:30am EST, not necessarily local time. Instead of accepting the invite, I should have proposed a new meeting day. LOL.
Usually by 10:30 local time.
