Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Prediction of who will replace CEO

My guess is that CS will sometime in 2024 and be replaced by the departing CEO from Morgan Stanley. Them Morgan and WF merge sometime in 2026 after the Asset Cap is lifted.

Ather's too self-absorbed to have delivered anything worthwhile and is only in his job because of optics. He was third-string at BofA and brought fellow third-stringers to continue ruining Wells; no way he'll be a CEO of a GSFI.

Will the new CEO have some info on layoffs?

You know, the thing this website is supposed to be about?

There are about a million other websites to post this kind of useless speculation, but whatever.

I vote for AI. At least it will have a valid excuse for failure.

Charlie has failed. That's a given. Next moves are uncertain and would not rule out the BOD not taking any action.

With this BoD? Let's see, who would be the absolute worst possible option...

Oh yeah, Scott Powell. That's who they will pick because they are horrible at their job.
