Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Sticking it to us again. Medical and elsewhere

Simply can’t believe how much medical has gone up and value of plans down. Meanwhile, Shart and OC collecting multi millions and using saved funds from sticking it to us on their buy backs which are then used to fund their new stock grants. And we all can barely save a buck to one day retire if we’re lucky to not have a offshored job.

They got rid of the higher use HSA
And have gone back to a single tier HSA instead of a lower use and higher use HSA

Threshold may be higher

If you compare the documents head to head with 2023 and 2024, what’s there in the HSA section is basically identical. So if you got $800 health and wellness dollars in 2023, how could you not get them in 2024? My guess is that the person who keeps saying they went away either has never made <100k here or forgot about the employer contribution they used to get. Every new year since I’ve started here, I’ve gotten a $250 deposit to my HSA on the first payday of the year. It’s automatic and different than the $800 health and wellness dollars everyone has to accumulate. It’s $500 if under 50k or whatever, and 0 over 100k. Those cutoffs haven’t changed, at least not recently. The listed comp they use for the tiers (medical eligible premium compensation) should be your current base salary + the actual amount you got for your most recent bonus. Or at least that’s what it’s always been for me when I look at the history in workday.

Believe it or not healthcare costs have gone up everywhere, not just at Wells Fargo.

Hsa- I always thought there was extra contribution under 100k (which was separate than the 800 wellness dollars). So if you make under 100k you would get both and over 100k you can just get the wellness dollars. Looks the same in 2024, no?

In HSA, those over 100k get nada. HRA doesn’t appear to have any salary restrictions

Such an ignorant comment. Many of us are BORN w/issues that we couldn't have prevented. You are beyond callous.

In your words:
"Wow. I can't believe this had to be said."

I just looked and believe you are misreading it. Right under where it says HRA or HSA it says 800 for yourself and 400 for spouse. It does not say anything about salary or compensation.

Directly below that it talks about employer contributions. This is different from Health and Wellness dollars. They have given this out in this manner for a few years now.

How they display the page it is easy to confuse and believe both sections are the same topic.

@1qqs+1p3MyHop The guy saying misinformation is saying no change to health and wellness. lol. The $800 is gone if you make over 100k. Fact check it!

Many others medical plans up over 25%.

Stop getting so sick or outsourcing your health to so-called experts (lol). Maybe try paying closer attention to what you’re pumping into your body, which was perfectly designed. Wow. I cannot believe this has to be said.

$125k/yr my healthcare premium is going up 14.2% for the exact same plan as last year.

Completely negates this year's "raise".

Yep, same here. I think some people are looking for something to fit their agenda and now can't even comprehend correctly anymore.

The big change was two years ago when they created the tiers. My costs went up $720 that year. Seems they did a better move this year and create more tiers above $100k.

Yeah some misinformation here (big shocker). I’m married+spouse+kids and make 150k. No change in Health and Wellness (the change to 800/400 was last year), no change to vision, no change to employer contribution (it’s been $0 for my income level for some time), dental up a couple bucks, medical up $7 (i see deductible went up by a bit so i’ll have to add more to hsa). This is the least impacted i’ve been in some time.

Regarding Health and Wellness , go to page 2 of the nationwide and local copay plan comparison pdf which is accessed off the compare your medical plan options page

Where’d you see that? It isn’t gone for my state at least, and it’s 800 you can get regardless of income level, 400 for spouse. You get 0 if >100k for the employer contribution they just give you at the beginning of the year, but for me at least that’s the same cutoff as last year. The 800 you can earn by doing different activities or whatever is still there.

Very Brazen Moves. He might be able to gut the company but someone will need to pick up the pieces.

Schart and his OC minions strike again in their designed plan to get people to quit so they don't have to pay severance. There's been so many things like this since this guy has taken over. Where is the useless refreshed BOD oversight? It's clear they are in on it too so they all continue to line their pockets and prep golden parachutes at the expense of the employees who are the backbone of the company and destroy shareholder value. When is the media and Congress going to look into all the things he's doing to hurt this company?

And $800 health and wellness benefit gone for anyone making over 100k. Reduced for others. Brazen moves by Shart and OC. Bet soon they’ll bring back the reduced 401k match
