I highly doubt she wasn’t treating the white men below her like she would want to be treated. There is a current level 4 black female that is doing the same. Makes a lot of comments about race and has even gone as far as to tell white managers they need more diversity when hiring yet 18% or AT&T employees are black. Only 13-14% of the population is black. Sounds like the numbers are what the country is made up of. It’s very clear the last 3-5 years that the company is doing everything it can to promote anyone that’s not a straight white male. There are entire organizations within T that don’t have a white male in management until you get all the way to the CEO. No way AT&T fired her without multiple people stating she had made derogatory or racist comments.
This doesn’t sound legit…she gets a note left in her office by someone slipping it under the door and immediately goes to L1’s to ask if they left it under her door “without reading it first”….NOT!!! Sounds like she was in a corner and perhaps created the threatening note herself…just maybe that’s what the review of her computer showed. Hmmmm.
Guys she paid for the pizza party out her OWN POCKET, LEAVE HER ALONE
Look for the same story on the nbc4i news site. The legal doc is there and there is a step by step description of what happen and what the content of the note.
I know who this person is, I can confirm that she is indeed racist and should have been fired. She was also completely incompetent and knew nothing about her job in construction.
Not surprised. She was most likely promoted to inflate company diversity statistics to begin with.
Sounds like she got caught making the threats up, got fired, then sold the story to the race-baiting press. T should go after her for defamation.
Funny, it wasn’t racist when she went and cherry-picked who she wanted to let go, but now it’s somehow racism when she’s on the other end of the surplus machine.
I’ll take things that didn’t happen for one hundred.
Maybe for once the correct person was let go!
She will be rehired with back pay to boot!
“I’m disgusted at the fact that all of these years, I’ve never been reprimanded for anything. I have worked countless hours, I have missed events with my kids, I have worked on holidays, I have worked my guts out for you,” she said. “And now this happens to me, and you don’t protect me.”
That’s pretty much everyone’s story with 30 plus years service - surplus, benefits yanked back, forgotten promotion promises.

"Last November, according to Fowler’s complaint, AT&T informed her that she would need to oversee a 25% reduction in force"
I'm curious if these people were on the layoff board warning us this was coming
We prefer to lean and expect on over-sensitive verses facts cause we dwell on deflections than reality. Everyone needs to understand the only reaction is overreacting at AT&T. In this case, it’s the race card, which always wins here!
Yikes, imagine being an adult and typing like this.
She didin do nuffuns!! Email is not your friend sometimes.
She'll win, get paid, and you'll still be doing your manual labor.
Forensic search of her computer.
AT&T don’t play. I’m glad she was fired.
