And what a great day to have it on, Friday 13. The management will be more than happy to make up for bad results with more layoffs. Actually, Charlie has proven again and again that even good results don't protect us from layoffs, so cuts if/when the results prove lacking are given.

Nice prediction. Remove me to bet against whoever you bet for
Why are you worried about this dysfunctional ship? Charlie screwed up and let the Titanic hit the iceberg already, it is destined to go down anyway. But I suspect Captain Charlie will jump the ship before it goes down.
@urh+1p0miJEB sad thing is his buyback program has done zero to even support the stock price. His stock price performance has been atrocious
Shart gonna be extra rude to the analysts on the earnings call this Friday the 13th
The three most important metrics in our earnings releases tend to be “did you beat on top line revenues?”, “did your bad debt reserve accrual come in abnormally high?” and “did Charlie say something unexpected / scary / concerning / d-mb on the after-release earnings call?”
As others have mentioned here, the street knows EPS can be cooked and doesn’t really care about it as much anymore.
Don't worry, Charlie will initiate another $30 billion share buyback to keep the share price so that he and his executives can get huge fat paychecks. He will then offset that cost by laying off or outsourcing additional 30K employees.
I always thought that the whole concept of beating vs missing estimates was bogus.
So if analysts think our earning are going to be $hitty, and we beat their estimates but our earnings are nevertheless $hitty - does that mean we did a good job?
The execs clearly don't care about earnings, why should I? They'll can is either way.
Why are you worried? I am not worried.
Don’t worry in most cases earning are MANAGED to come in or beat expectations. My manager constantly reminds me of it by making sure we manage the risk of our examination findings.
earnings will beat expectations
Hard to have earnings when the Fed isn't propping things up. The whole fractional reserve fiat ponzi is a joke.

So if layoffs happen regardless of earnings, why are you worried?
Thanks for the heads up Warren
