It's all about cutting costs. The India teams are dirt cheap, I mean really dirt cheap. The Bank doesn't care about anything else.

This is no different than for pretty much every team in Tech.

not at all surprising. they have been trying to clean up that mess since Rich Baich left at CISO years ago.
