He’s normally always quiet. We get a quarterly town hall after each earnings report. But we didn’t get one last time. Where is this guy? Things feel eerily quiet

I’m not 2ngq but isn’t a bit ironic to post immediately after someone asking if they have a life? A bit odd, no? Maybe go hang out with your family and friends instead of worrying about what others do in their free time.

I find it very odd CS has no presence on LinkedIn. Almost every other major bank CEO is on there except him.
Probably the Howard Hughes syndrome. He's holed up in a dark hotel penthouse with the curtains closed and only a few sycophants communicating with him. He spends most of his days watching 20 years of reruns of Family Feud.
Until the news about BD retiring, we haven’t seen much of CS. His Charlie’s Corner hasn’t updated since June 1 except for a post by the summer interns. Our last town hall was May 9. Maybe it was summer, leadership are trying to stay out of the press, or CS has a health/personal issue. For one of the largest banks in the US, it’s odd.
He has been working on sale / split of Wells Fargo. Why do you think PD retired?

Just a thought from an experience I had when I was a new grad at a regional bank. Whenever the CEO planned large layoffs, he was totally silent and the floor he worked on was blocked on the elevators. I guess he didn't want confronted by the folks he laid off. Maybe that's what's going on?
