Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

So with the Holiday do we have to badge in 2/4 or 3/4 this week?

Thanks in advance. This is all so silly but I have stuff to get done this week.

(((Per Sambar, holidays and PTO are not considered days in the office. So still need at least 3 days.)))

Can confirm he stated as such during his Town Hall last week, but on par with the usual clown show, I can also confirm that I am under Sambar and we are told by our direct leadership that our PTO and Holidays do indeed "count" as an office day, or better stated reduce the "required" days in office accordingly. For example, this week one would only need to go into office the twice due to Holiday.

The rules is simple. In office 3 days per week.

Of course everyone gets a different answer because there's no planning at T and definitely no communication. It's typical chaos.

As for us, we were told they track at the hourly level and the percent of hours is what is important and not raw number of days. So for us they told us we need 60% of 4 days or about 2.5 days swiped in.

I have stuff to do also, and yet I have to be in office 5 days a week.

These comments are why I have nooooooo sympathy for RTO.

Any paid day off, holiday, vacation etc counts as office day per reporting.

“There is no consistency. Finance was told if there is a holiday or if you take PTO, you still need to badge in 3 days out of 5. If you take two days of PTO, that's the rest of the week you have to badge in. When we get Thursday and Friday off, you will badge in Monday-Wednesday.”

With monday a holiday and PTO on Tuesday and Wednesday how do you get 3 days at the office by Friday?

3/4 per Sambar’s townhall. Your org may have a different view. Ask your boss.

That is exactly not what Sambar said. PTO and holidays count as office days.

Some groups were told holiday and pto counts as in office days. Should probably ask your supervisor and not an anonymous message board filled with trolls lmao
