Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Can the WF track me through the camera on my laptop?

What do you think, are they advanced enough to track me through the camera? What about when my laptop is put to sleep or shut off?

What's up with these lengthy number of messages? Just close the camera cover when you are not using it. It's a very quick solution.

Can they? Yep.

Do they? Nope. Given the high amount of people who admittedly have little work to do and given WF’s clear intent to cut US employees, surely WF would use this as an easy way to reduce US headcount. And I don’t see that happening - not in my line of business or team anyway.

Can I join you in a Teams meeting?

Assume they can and act accordingly.

They can access whatever they want, whenever they want. I don’t think anyone is actively monitoring, but if you were suspected of doing some misdeed, they could pull it.

I once had a job where I partnered with internal investigations and it never failed to blow my mind the crazy things people do on WF devices and think it’s private. If you are logged in, your activity is theirs.

Just wait until OP realizes his cell phone has a mic and camera that are capturing what he says/does

I’m not sure about cameras but they sure do use Desktop Analytics to see how much work you are actually doing in a day. Look it up! All WF managers can access your DA report and call you out for not being productive.

I think of your question like the following:

Street Interviews: Who was the first president of the United States? Your answer: Abraham Lincoln? My response: Yes!

Your Question: Can Wells Fargo Track me through my work laptop camera? My response to such a crazy question: Yes!

Anyone see those instagrams videos or FoxNews street interviews?
Question: What war freed was responsible for freeing the slaves? Answer: The Vietnam war. Yes!

There are creeps that turn on your cam to see what you look like, so tape the thing shut.

Yes. This is common practice these days. I bought a lens cover and when not in meeting where being on camera is required, lens is covered.
