I am ok with RTO - but the parking is very expensive almost $90 p.m. Is parking so expensive? This is not SF or NY or similar big city downtown.

Wells stopped paying for parking over 10 years ago with friendlier/more supportive executives. In today’s environment, they will not be paying. Best move in over to Ally if you are CLT-they pay.

Only if you commute by city bus. Again, their intent isn't to help you, it's to make you so miserable that you quit.
The aggregate costs of gas, wear and tear on vehicles, toll charges, parking, and in some cases the levying of a city tax on those returning to office who were previously full-time WFH/Remote is essentially an unofficial paycut.

Making it hard is part of the downsizing strategy.
$90 is cheap these days. Portland is $250+. But yes, it's total BS that WF is bailing on buildings left and right and they insist on retaining the buildings with paid parking rather than the free parking ones.
So thankful to no longer be with that place. It just keeps getting worse.

My manager told me and another employee we could go to a site closer to my house that had free parking. I was laid off 6 weeks later.
He also made an employee remote and that employee was laid off 6 weeks later. That employee never asked to be remote.
