Any L3's, have the inside info on timeline for RTO wave 2 implementation?

The invite for Monday mentions special projects. Just know that anyone tagged as supporting will get (relatively small) extensions.
Just got an email today that Wave 2 has moved up to letters going out at the end of January with a Feb 9 decision date.
I’m a 4th level employee. The whole RTO exercise is a shabby pretext to fire employees and to reduce AT&T’s real estate holdings.
Of course RTO is failing — it’s because it was never more than a cover story.
@2mjd+1onodTZt - what location?
RTO is a joke. We we suppose to return to office 9/05 and 5 min before the deadline (Friday 9-01 EOD) we got email that RTO for my location is postponed. We are all happy. T never hits the targets. Expecting Waive 2 to became a fiasko too. This is how T operates . How much money was already wasted on this stupid plan?
L3s have little more info than L2s and L1...
the various a holes leading orgs get to decide so it will be in no way consistent, predictable, transparent or otherwise make any sense at all
The fathers of RTO have no long term plans developed yet. All they have planned is to cut people as we go. Easy peazy. Cut, cut, cut. Maybe there is a merger possible and this time TMOB will takeover T.
Multiple waves for the next 2 years. By the start of 2026, all HQ jobs will report to Dallas or Atlanta period. All GM's and above must be located in Dallas to help control leadership messaging. Growth will continue to slow along with revenues which will lead to more HC reductions with an overall employee HC less than 100K by the 1Q2026. Just need to hang on for about another 2.5 years for this ship to right itself.
The answer depends on which org you are in, they all have different plans and timelines.
What is wave 2 about?
It's different for every organization.
