I'm in CA and every other Tuesday I'm disappointed when I'm not noticed. I thought for sure that being in CA and a Remote employee would put me higher on the list. Makes me wonder if there are some groups that will be left alone.

We had a manager telling people to change their address to a more preferred location. This was some months ago. It appears to have worked so far. I can't believe everybody is not doing it!
All you have to be is 1 mile outside of the 40 miles. A pregnant female employee was 41 miles away from hub location. The employee stated she was okay with commuting to the office and had no issues commuting. They still proceeded with displacing her in the 08/08 round. They just don't care, "get it", or want to give a cr-p
Only expect to disappointed, hope for nothing. WF may endure but as an employer they are sh1t.

I'm still waiting to be that worker outside the magical radius who gets targeted for a layoff. I know for a fact I'm exactly 1 mile too far from the closest location in my area.
