Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

JP Morgan has Jamie Dimon. *We have Charlie the Tuna*.

JP Morgan has the most powerful and influential banker in America.
We have his reject.

JP Morgan has an outspoken charismatic CEO.
We have a secretive brooding shut-in.

Jamie has successfully navigated his bank through financial crises, regulatory challenges and technological disruptions.
Charlie is rumored to have navigated his way through the crowd in his tuxedo at the NYC Ballet.

Jamie is sought after by CNBC, Face the Nation, Bloomberg, PBS, Global investor Conferences, Business Schools etc
Charlie is in heavy demand by …… literally no one.

Jamie fosters a culture of passion and commitment, transparency, a positive work environment and productive teams.
Charlie destroys passion and commitment, is obscure and ambiguous, alienates his employees and weakens teams.

JP Morgan stock up 📈 30% in 4 years.
Wells Fargo stock down 📉 15% in 4years.

No. They are the same at their core. Whether it’s because CS wants to be like JD when he grow up,
doesn’t matter. A pig is a pig no matter how you dress it. JD may live in a fancier house, have better “friends” in the media and regulatory space,
has a bigger company bank account to play with but make no mistake - JD is no “leader” to idolize.

I don't think you are wrong. I have a few JPM friends who tell me how toxic JP's environment is, and they are looking to get out.

My take is that, JPM, BOA and Truist are about the same, all toxic. I can give Jamie some credit because his bank is clearly outperforming others. One thing I am absolutely certain is that WF is the worst bank in America, and I blame Charlie for that.

There's a reason why so many at JPM are eager to leave and will even come to Wells Fargo just to get out. Go take a look at the forum posts for JPM.

It's totally Charlie's fault, 100%.

Charlie has been at Wells for 5 years. He has accomplished nothing but outsourcing jobs to India and creating more scandals. Yes, he is not only incompetent, but he made this back much worse in 5 years. He has no rights to blame others but himself.

That link even gets stronger now that WF has K Meyer. There will be criminal investigations and lawsuits in the future.

Charlie is not at fault it’s the old Wells Risk in Charlotte and Des Moines that are corrupt and incompetent. What does it take for the good ol' boys to be relieved of their posts?
