Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Severance plan changes?

Has anyone else heard of severance plan changes coming in 2024? I heard a rumor that the benefit is being cut in half, so only being paid out 1 week for each year of service.

They laying off people and hiring new employees on board. Makes no sense.

There are no severance plan changes. It's just fear mongering from people on this board. I've never heard this anywhere else but here. I would completely ignore this unless the handbook shows otherwise. People just like scaring others.

Most big companies put a 6 month max cap on severance which is what Wells Fargo will do. So if you are a long term employee pray for the package I. 2023

Get your head out of your as$. Do you really expect that this company is going to continue their severance package. Every other major corporation has sliced their packages to nothing. Chainsaw Charlie not only does not like you but can’t afford the masses he is having to pay. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out. You are delusional if you don’t think that.change is coming!

After 2024 there won't be any domestic employees to term, so what difference does it make.

We’ll know when the Benefits Book is posted. Until then, it’s speculation.

I wouldn’t be surprised but they would face additional scathing criticism from all parties, including the Senate Banking Committee.

Of course, we've heard of it, @OP. You posted the same BS rumor last month.

The only place I’ve heard that is on this board. But wouldn’t surprise me if
CS would go there as a Hail Mary pass to get people to quit.

If it happens, they better displace me early in January because I’ll absolutely get my 2 weeks per year by giving significantly less work productivity.

Hate what this company has become!
