Vague-posting on an anonymous forum is not very brave, yet I need to gloat on a place it can't come back to me.
My old boss, who tossed me under the bus when I refused to do something I deemed unethical, took over a huge project that was viewed as gigantic "slam dunk". It was going to be the capstone on his career.
However, due to his poor management the project has completely stalled and is likely to fail. His entire professional portfolio is on fire. My current world is likely to burn down because of it, but right now I've got the marshmallows and skewers out and am enjoying the flames.

My old boss did something similar to me, in a very unethical way. Wells Fargo is still the number one on the most unethical banks' list.
Kudos to OP for knowing that word.
I felt the same when my toxic boss was finally displaced.
