I saw on my Sr. Manager’s calendar that they had a meeting with the SVP today titled “Important Business Update”. Looks like there were about 30 people in the meeting total. Does this pretty much confirm that people in my dept. will be getting axed?

There is no one safe this is bigger a lot bigger. Now meetings are getting set up for every single department.
5’s can also be making more $$$
There are more 5’s out there than you might think. You would be surprised.

I got the dreaded important business update meeting invite for today with myself and my team invited. The meeting was to tell the team our director had been let go. It’s ruthless out there. Even employees rated a 5 are not safe.
Quite the contrary, it probably means you're safe from layoffs.
