RCSA Misery

The messy, unclear, chaotic, mockery of rational thought, sh-t storm we all know as RCSA has rendered my team as fiefs to the Controls team. Once upon a time, we referred to them as partners, but now we take marching orders and are not permitted to ask questions without escalation. We write control after control for processes we don’t own or manage. We write procedures for automated processes. We do this because…RCSA. Then all the fun of tracking, tollgates, trigger events, ECBE testing, etc. In the meantime, lawsuits and fines keep coming in. My team and I are spending inordinate amounts of time doing menial, ridiculous, and utterly pointless things instead of addressing actual problems or creating products. Needless to say, I’m actively interviewing. This place feels like death.

RCSA in CIB is completely out of whack - the business control teams literally do nothing and I assume these are the people that are going to be picking up refresh? I was on assignment as FST on a few of their RAUs and was basically on my own. Had to act as the actual facilitator because literally no one from business control did anything or cared

There is a small group of over-promoted sycophants in control management responsible for RCSA and EBCE mess. They were supposed to get a hard hitter from CIB to clean the mess but he has proven to be a clueless light weight who is now part of the problem.

Smh I'm sadden where WF is going. Rcsa is su-king the blood from all wf employees. They laid people off then shoved all this work pluse this bs ecbe testing down people throats. The test team doesn't know po-p. They ask you question 10 different ways when you already answered the question. The company I once loved is going down thr drain by leadership. Woooooow

Wells Fargo won’t be able to stop RCSAs, ENGINs, ITVs, EBCEs, ERIAs, IORAs and all their derivatives and spin-offs and breakdowns and critiques and reviews and reports on the back ….. until my ol' lady's done revampin' that kitchen. Mark my words, I'll vouch for that.

Yup and those contract roles started as hybrid and now even those have switched to rully remote, common sense would have offered some of those roles to those they laid off but unless you're a street shiter who pises on fellow airline passengers, you probably aren't eligible.

Post ID: @sif+1o3u1YmH currently on a fst against my will. they are refusing to send me back to my team bc they don’t have enough resources for the timeline. the head lady is the worst… but i basically have been told the only way out is another job, so i’m almost out of here. i’m like 2-3 weeks from saying i’m outta here. i’m like people are miserable and you keep wondering why nobody is signing up.

I just got about 5 emails in 1 day from contracting companies for an "Urgent Opportunity" with RCSA at the bank. They can't even get consultants in the door.

People forced to work on RCSA cannot transfer and are told not to ask questions. Many people are doing jobs they weren’t hired for and there is no motivation because they know as soon as this is over, they will be let go.

Existing activities are documented as is, and there is no time to make changes even when it is obvious there is a better option. Nothing works well, not the tools, not the over complicated processes, and not the demoralized people. The thing is that no one cares. The only option is to leave.

@sif+1o3u1YmH - PWC is part of the scam. Someone got a kickback for that.

Like I said on a recent post, I was on an FST Team prior to Phase II and those people I worked with were swine. I had to leave my position to get out of the project. I was their BIT-CHHH girl taking meeting minutes and performing SNOW data entry. They are losing PwC consultants left and right who are tired of this work.

RCSA execution was completely botched. The team is incompetent and lacks credibility, experience, and required depth of knowledge. Despite consuming enormous resources, we were able to successfully mask our weaknesses and potential exposure.

I am on FST team for CB; when I tell you this whole thing is a cluster. Nobody has a clue on roles or responsibilities. I always say the management of this project is going to end us back in another netflix scandal. They are doing stuff borderline illegal trying to clean stuff up. HR is being called daily bc of unjust treatment of employees. They have various salaries, work qualifications all doing the same work but with various salaries. This is dumpster fire… run

We are all going to coast until we get our severance. I have been around 30 years and I can tell you new management is corrupt too. They just maybe a little more motivated to prove themselves.

Middle management here at WF is lazy and corrupt. There are still plenty of roaches from the old criminal culture lurking around which is why we can’t get issues cleared up. If you want things to improve, we need to exterminate them.

What RCSA hasn’t been successful at is identifying risks associated with weak leadership.

Our RCSA controls team was three folks in their early twenties. Had no idea how any task was performed so we spent endless amounts of time explaining processes over and over. endless word smithing of process documentation.

RCSA was gonna push the organization go forward. But instead, it turned into a petri dish for Derek/Scott/Nate/Gwen to breed about 10000 blood-su-king parasites. And these parasites were not cute critters … they burrowed toxic policies into the very fabric of wells and leeched the business dry. They have now infested everything. Dedicated employees, once passionate about their roles now feel marginalized and unheard. RCSA framework is a croc of do do. The results a load of du!g. Everyone is mired in bureaucracy and endless disputes. You can’t challenge anything. Everything is an escalation. And you get beaten up no matter how much RCSA pile o’ sh! you shovel. Yet parasites are still breeding, increasing and poisoning the bank. My leadership is just not listening.

Yep.

Control barks meaningless orders, has ZERO accountability of their own and is being positioned to be primarily performed by India. Not a good time to be a US WF employee.
