All the drones are in India. AT&T is reducing the brains to operate them.
Not really the best brains though. Many are smart, but haven't met a genius there yet.
Watch some Zeihan. Mexico is the next big growth country like India has been for the past 20 years.
This is how it works…. Get two hours of overlap with offshore to discuss what needs to be done for the next day. On the next day go over only 10% of what was supposed to have been completed, and 5% of it is wrong anyway. But hey, somehow collaboration will probably fix it.
Yeah sorry man. It’s pretty obvious you haven’t spent much time working with offshore teams. About the only thing they beat us in is hustling the system. Ever wonder why 20 are on a call and only 1 speaks? Because here’s how it works; you offshore to Indian company A, Indian company A hires B to do the work, B hires C, C hires D, D hires E, etc. so what you have is person from company A speaking, while person from company G is actually doing the coding. G is somebody’s 3rd cousin, twice removed neighbors college kid. As far as the Indian bosses, ever wonder why they only hire other Indian workers? Because they get kickbacks from each person they hire and that person gets kickbacks from the people they hire. Had an Indian friend explain how it works one time. He added, you Americans are pretty stupid, can’t believe you let this happen in your country. Those are facts people, not racist, nothing of the sort, just how it works.
It doesn’t take a high IQ to work at T anymore..
