Ok troll , we all need something to read while we’re taking a sh*t; 🤣:
‘ I just want to say that I’m really impressed by the leadership of Karen. She has to make tough decisions for the good of the company, and this decision really exemplifies her boldness and toughness.
After this brief storm passes, I think CVS really does have a bright future with Karen at the helm.
What is happening with the 5,000 colleagues is quite unfortunate’
— the livelihoods of 5,000 people in question; I think we can all agree having that uncertainty in limbo is more then “unfortunate”
That email asking to focus on our tasks and jobs during this time while we don’t know the “ how/when/where” shows a complete lack of reality/scope- a leader should be able to have a modicum , a clue, being able to relate on some level, the understanding or empathy that these aren’t 5,000 jobs, these are people’s means of putting food on the table, heating and cooling, their homes, caring for their families.. . - she’s asking us to continue to generate revenue for her, when we don’t know if we are going to be employed?
‘I do not envy the position that she is in, having to make these tough decisions.’
-
well that is the onus and responsibility you take on as the role of CEO , you are leading a multi billion dollar company; there is accountability and responsibility.
I mean the president of the Unites States makes a quarter of a million dollars I believe - and he could start international warfare ( look I don’t care if you voted for him or not, think there election was a fraud- whatever- I’m using his salary and ability to start international warfare is a reference point) - and even he has to answer to people and have accountability.
You cannot preach to “ lead by example”
When you have shown that you don’t give a sh*t by example, with being a hypocrite.
