What time will they start laying everyone off or will the continue to be so kind and wait until the end of the day?

Rumor I thought I heard was folks were asked to block the calendars on Monday.
Why doubt they will wait till Tuesday? It is very on brand for the round of layoffs.
Sure hourly people may be cut at 9am Monday but anyone who is salary exempt and paid 2x/month will be cut Tuesday EOD.
Those in twice monthly checks get paid to the 15th no matter what. Lay me off on Monday? Fine but I'm still getting paid till Tuesday afternoon regardless of any severance.
Giving people a free 8 hours on top of any severance is not on brand for this layoff. Milking them for every hour that has been paid is very on brand.

I suspect EOD Tuesday.
That way they will have gotten every last second of work out of anyone on a twice monthly pay cycle. Can't let those being laid off get an extra free 8 hours!
