Are there any plans to close any of the mortgage hubs as it relates to sales and HMC'S part of that?I know the one I am closest to, barely anyone goes there, maybe 1 or 2 at the most. This location was made HUB last year and I know there are still several years on the very expensive lease.

They followed through with exactly what they said they would do back in January. Those of us who survived are busy. This site is full of d-mbasses who clearly don’t understand the ups and downs of the mortgage industry.
It's not dead but will be reduced to a skeleton crew until the economy turns and the asset cap is lifted. There's too much money to be made in Commercial/CIB to waste asset cap-capacity in a black hole that is mortgage in the current interest rate environment.
Mortgage is not dead especially if you're working with WIM. Beyond that though...
Hyderabad is the only mortgage hub.
With all due respect to anyone left in a mortgage role, your time is limited. You can stop wondering and asking if you're getting laid off, because the answer is yes. It stinks having it hang over your head but that's what it is. I wouldn't try to hard. Try to find peace with it and start searching.

Either a troll or Charlie posting his d-mb comments. Yes mortgage is dead. Wells Fargo is pulling out of mortgages unless you are minority. They have laid off all of our processors closers and underwriters. Everything has been offloaded to India. This whole Hub cr-p is the most stupid plan ever
no one here would know that information. mortgage is not dead despite what people like to post. is it scaled way back? absolutely. but anyone here who claims to know inside info about layoffs or future plans is lying.
Mortgage is dead for real when u cut 50% of fulfillment team your exiting mortgage. Writing on wall im based in tempe and can tell you it's coming unsure when but its coming.
