Bye Wells Fargo. You are the sh&ttiest place to have ever worked. I loved my job and you chose to ax me just because I did not live near one of your hubs. I was good enough to have worked for you for 30 years. Whomever came up with this whole hub idea is an id&ot. You threw me out like garbage with no decency of letting me say good bye to any of my co workers and sales team that I had worked with for years. I hope you are happy sending all of our jobs to India. You deserve what you get charlue. You disgust me.

The Company is still here. What you and many others don’t seem to realize is that a large Corp will move on, there are so many ways p survive and options they have. Have I see highly competent and skilled people leave/be left, yes. But there will always be enough left around to fulfill the needs.
30 years at one company though, the 2000’s taught you nothing. You’re either a deep Gen X or Late Boomer. Should have known better.
That may be what he was hired to do, but unfortunately for the future of the company all he's done is "clean out" the wrong people. Many of the best, brightest, and most knowledgeable have been downsized or simply left to escape the BS. Turns out really good people often have options, so hardline stances on stupid policies tends to eliminate your best employees. Then what? Well, you pull the cord on the golden parachute and sail off into the sunset while the company circles the drain.

"location strategy" is nothing more than an excuse for getting rid of people. That's all it's ever been. Once they have gotten rid of everyone in that group, they'll make up another excuse. All they are doing is herding people into hubs so they can shut those down one by one and blame the terms on the fact that they "had" to sell/close the building. Hyderabad and Hudson Yards are the only hubs that matters to Charlie. CIC may be last to go, but it will still go. It's a matter of time. None of us are safe unless we're in India and working dirt cheap.
You are better off without them. Start planning the rest of your life. :)
