I've found out that someone I worked for in the past has been going around contacting my current managers and maligning me (for nothing to do with performance or professionalism). I performed well for them & treated them with respect. They just have something personal (or maybe it's female jealousy) against me. This has affected every team I've been on. I suspected it in the past and now I've received confirmation. They obviously have nothing better to do with their lives as it's been a few years. I actually resigned from working for her so maybe it's that. Would you report them to HR or ethics line if this was you?

What if you confront your old manager?
Targeted harassment. Report her to HR with proof
I’m feeling a bit maligned reading this thread.
Lots of “maligning” going on according to recent posts.
If you have direct credible evidence (ie. one of the managers who said this was shared with them AND will stand by that if asked), I’d call an attorney and let them guide you to possible next steps. Others posts on the site indicate WF HR or Ethics Line isn’t the most effective first line.
Hire a lawyer to serve your ex-manager with a cease & desist. That usually does the trick. If your ex-manager persists in being a nuisance, have your lawyer contact HR on your behalf. That will definitely do the trick.
Hostile work environment and harassment.
Find her in a back alley and settle things.
Just ignore her she is trying to get a ride out of you. Hr or ethics will do nothing
People like this count on no one pushing back. F em
Yep, especially if you have hard evidence.
