Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WF does not truly believe in DEI

Nor do any companies that outsource to India.

Read up people..the caste system still exists in India...

I want to see WF or other companies that outsource to India to show they are hiring outside of the higher castes and proving real opportunities to the lower ones..

They can't do it...the lower castes are paid slave labor wages..

Until this is remedied...I laugh at DEI in the USA.
You are laying off people deliberately to pay slave labor wages..

I fully expect this post to be deleted since the truth hurts.

What is it with crazy people and resurrecting nearly year-old threads.

There’s a post whining about DEI every day on here, put your “thoughts” in one of those instead.

Nailed it. The true elites want us at each other's throats constantly...so our hands never find theirs.

This goes way beyond Wells Fargo. Corporate America in general jumped onboard DEI garbage in 2020 because they saw an opportunity to fool millions of Americans into believing they suddenly care about people. They talk about "racial reckonings," constant pride stuff, blah blah blah, while they send jobs overseas, actively work against the interests of employees, and so on. Remember Occupy Wall Street? This is a way to make sure that doesn't happen again: ensure that American citizens, particularly people under 40 who are otherwise "liberal," associate Chase, JPMorgan, etc., with this stuff and not greed. It's all a scam and most people have fallen for it.

If you're someone who has benefitted from neoracist DEI policies, make no mistake: They don't actually care about you. They're using you, and they're watching and laughing as Americans get upset at each other over these smokescreen policies that cover up that these businesses are the same that they've always been.13

WF definitely doesn't care about those with disabilities. The open hostility, particularly post-pandemic, is off the charts!

Caste attitudes pervade Indians in the US as well. I've lost track of the slights and office spats between Indian employees of high and low castes.

OP just hit on a bigger theme that resonated with me:

Wells Fargo C-Suite and Board are alarmingly deceitful in, literally, every step taken.

Everything they say or do which they paint positively as “for the greater good” or “progressive” or “doing the right thing”, especially as “for the good of the shareholders” always has a dirty underlying money-grubbing motive for the Senior Leadership Team.

This team shouldn’t be trusted with running a school carnival, much less a top 5 bank responsible for keeping customer’s money safe.

India has a really bad human rights track record. The caste system remains in place to control the poor. Birth to death with not escape. And then there is Russia...
