Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What will happen if I file an anonymous complaint about my former manager?

Will they be able to assign a name to it if they realize it's me based on my complaint? Either HR or ethics line.

I love this concept.

As others have said, HR's job is to protect the company from lawsuits. People who file complaints eventually file lawsuits, so HR's job is to see who submits complaints and get rid of them before they file lawsuits.

What type of complaint?

What if you have already left the bank & they can't "fire" you?

Expect to be fired. WF HR works for the bank, not for the employees. If it’s criminal conduct, suggest you go straight to the regulators.

Just a general statement about anonymity at WF. As previously pointed out, there is no such thing as an "anonymous" post or survey. The wording morphed to "confidential" years ago. This essentially means "We know where you live."

If you keep it anonymous and vague, they will ignore you. If you give them your name and specifics, they will retaliate and chalk it up to "the economy" and/or "we can fire you for any reason".

Do neither. They will hunt you down, find you and fire you. Nothing is confidential. They are the enemy.

Do it. We all need a good " I told you so" moment here.

It is really no use.

When my manager and director shield h1 workers for China, I complain that I shouldn't be doing their work by slapping their names on it all the time.

After that, they start to isolate me and attack me to everyone I work with. My own project becomes even harder to obtain

Bro, HR at Wells is like the Mafia. They are not your friend. They will never advocate for employees, ever. They are there to defend WF. Trust me, I know. They are thick as thieves with Hudson Yards.

They will figure out it is you and fire you. Wells has no qualms about burning whistle-blowers whatsoever.

Nothing is anonymous if serious. Be prepared to defend

If trivial, HR will ignore and your anonymity is assured.
