“As a store rep, I get all types of people on FirstNet coming in. None legitimately qualify for FirstNet. I had a carpet installer, attorney, even a guy selling stolen football jerseys out of his car on FirstNet. None did anything first responder oriented.“

And enter the Verizon Trolls …. Nice try not buying it. There is a verification process in place.

“ so you’re saying as long as T makes the free cash flow number no one… firms/Wall Street will ever find out? How can this be?”

This can’t be a serious statement by an adult …..

The whole FirstNet marketing team was absorbed into the Business team.

Re: reply
You can’t be serious ? Do you realize T has been self reporting numbers to the street for over decade ? You, I or the street will never know the truth about T’s “ interesting” accounting methods. The only thing that has kept the eyes off of it has been free cash flow and the dividend. Once those become casualties, the gloves will be off and heads will roll and unfortunately T’s fairytale will be over for good

“ If true, this at a minimum should have been realized by internal Accounting, external Auditors or some investment firms. This would be more than an integrity issue - would be an SEC violation.”

Every employee with a COU device has been converted to "First Net". A lot of adds. A lot of adds... Not sketchy. Completely above board. No reason to question the stock price. No reason at all.

Not one legitimate government subdivision would actively subscribe to FirstNet. Any that did so we’re as a result of political pressure or we’re priced down to do so .

It was a 2017 6.5 billion dollar deal from the government that was supposed to reach its capacity in 3/23.

AT&T took the money and gave the government the same service as everyone else.

Shocking. They’ve spent the last 5 years converting T commercial lines to FirstNet and reporting as new….

Lots of $h%+ posts from vz & tmo hacks, maybe from a few of the T poor performers who were let go whose last day was this past Friday. Boo Hoo,
Don't be fooled by the FUD vz & tmo are strapped. Vz stock dropping and lowest it's been in awhile-wants to get well below 100K employees-@ somewhere around 115K today. tmo-doing the same RTO and layoffs are eminent

I heard they are restructuring all the cell towers, all towers need to report to their new Hub location for collaboration.

What structuring you talking about?
They don’t need that, the RTO will slice and dice the first net to last net with 30% layoffs

It is actually a restructuring of the entire Business Marketing team.

Firstnet- the golden department for five years. And yes, so much of what was “sold” were T customers already paying for service. The only uestion that matters is what percentage did you take from VZ or T-MOBILE. I have a feeling it’s not much, which is sad because VZ has kicked ar-e in this space without a government co tract.

So what’s the news on the restructuring?
