Forget about a package already. Not going to happen. Union will get screwed too.

“ Perhaps, T will offer occupational personnel a voluntary severance package to help dramatically reduce the numbers like they need to have their numbers reduced! I'm sure they can easily get 150-200 technicians off the payroll if T really wanted to cuz I know an awful lot of techs that are ready to leave this place behind!”

Just put them on a scale and remove them for being overweight as a safety concern. Then dr-g and alcohol test the remaining.

No need to pay any severance or incentive to leave.

"These people do not want to pay severance and they are willing to cheat you. They are basically tellling you they don’t care one bit about you just your role."

Repeat after me...

  • If you decline the move, you are still eligible for severance.
  • If you accept the move, and don't show up at the new location on the date specified you don't get severance.

There have been basically no cuts to headcount. They have just outsourced these jobs. My whole department was outsourced. They are cheaper because they are in India or Puerto Rico. They had outsourced another job earlier to an American group. Their rate went up and the higher ups moved to another overseas company.
Somebody please excuse explain to me whom the higher ups think will be able to afford their services if they keep putting Americans out of work.

Amazing how well the company is run after getting rid of so many. Why did we ever have so many workers anyway?

50K more cuts are needed to rightsize the workforce. T is still so bloated.

This just in: repeated layoffs and surpluses result in a shrinking workforce.

Stop the presses!

They use loopholes to avoid the legalities of there own policies such as “your not being asked to move your role is moving and if you choose to apply for that role then feel free” First off this comment is to avoid relocation payments. These people do not want to pay severance and they are willing to cheat you. They are basically tellling you they don’t care one bit about you just your role.
