I was told that commercial case management is safe but my supervisor told me that they’re restructuring so each supervisor has 20 direct reports, so supervisors in the CM department are not safe

The longer people have been there, the more they're likely to be making in their pay band. Which would make them a target. You'd have to at least be an older millennial to rack up 15+ years. As for age discrimination, disproportionate impact would count, but taking it up in court is unlikely to go anywhere.
So Case Managers are being streamlined and revamped? on 8/14 ? and why especially baby boomers??? that would be age discrimination ??
Word is they'll be downsized and restructured with the other companies they recently bought. So yes, layoffs, the ones left, restructured. May the odds be ever in your favor
Yes, they are getting laid off on August 14th.
Signify has tons of case managers like aetna, i imagine they will start consolidating those roles soon.
not safe
The Customer facing part is a lie. Simple Dose had customer facing position eliminated.
I feel if you are taking call center calls in any department then we’re safe. My dept has had OT everyday all year long. Whether it be mandatory or voluntary.
CM's are customer facing. You are going to be fine. It's the "behind the scenes poeple" like claims examiners, HR, support staff, mid level managers, vendors, IT that will likely be hit.
Case managers are being re- tooled
No kidding
No one is safe
I was wondering ?? are CM customer facing?
are they laying off Case Managers?
nobody knows anything and we are told we are safe but I feel scared ??? :(
