Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is Jeffie back in the saddle?

Jeffie had fallen out of favor with Stankey, it seems like they buried the hatchet. The big question is if Jeffie is back to being Stankey's replacement, moving ahead of Jeremy.

"[Legg] is wholly unqualified for his current position, let alone CEO."

Well, in that case, all he has to do is push for the acquisition of at least two successful companies, be placed in charge of them, run both of them into the ground while at the same time starting a rot at the center of the parent company, and then sell the two failed acquisitions for 1/10 of the cost, and he'll have Stink's resume!

Neither one belongs within a country mile of the CEO gig…nor does Skunkey!

I am in ATS so work in Jeremy's org. I am SO unimpressed by him. His persona is one of a silly goofball who most likely has no idea how the technologies actually work in the organization that he leads. Actually, "leads" is just a charitable reflection of his title, in that he has no actual leadership skills, either. He is wholly unqualified for his current position, let alone CEO.

Neither Jeremy (unqualified) of Jeff could turn this company ....they are senior leaders and in large part responsible for the horrible shape the company is in...neither could get a top job at another company.

Jeremy has the charisma of a snail and we need a CEO with far broader experience. No idea why anyone thinks he was ever a contender for CEO. His current job can be transformative so I wish him the best in it. Jeff has broader experience and is definitely the INTERNAL front runner. The question is whether the ultimate insider Board will look outside for the next leader.
