Seriously. What’s the deal? We literally seem like a façade/sham line of business. Our leadership gaslights our importance on every conference call and All Team meeting (thanks for the nothing burgers Tanya). Who’s going to finance with a dinosaur like us with antiquated decisoning platforms and servicing capabilities (a good chunk of customer service and collections agents are in Manila now). We exited mortgage. Is auto lending far behind?

WF Auto has been "for sale" for years, but no one seems to want it.
@fwj+1nUHUmc0 Yes we have an auto lending division, that's the division that repo's cars from service members when they're overseas, in blatant violation of the law, then puts a bunch of pro armed forces/vet cr-p on team works to act like they care.
All our lending LOB's are a joke. I applied for a loan for a piece of equipment for my farm and did it internally as an employee, the interest rate they quoted me was almost 20% with an over 700 FICO. I said even as an employee, yup, that's our employee rate. I said sc--w that and had the dealer submit me to Wells Fargo Equipment Finance as a joe blow off the street, approved with 3.25% interest.

I suspect your wish will be granted next year. There has been a plethora of Corp Risk positions posted in India over the last few months. Reminds me of how they started posting Control jobs in India and Philippines a year or so ago. Now starting to see the cuts to US Control. :(
Makes you miss the Tom W. & Bill K. Days. They broke the rules, barely paid folks, threw pizza parties as rewards and played corn hole all day on the 4th floor all day. Try to schedule time with them but they were Alaska fishing or in Mexico with Dealers. Remember when they walked around handing out ice cream bars to say thank you? Or threw parking lot parties instead of paying folks? Yeah, WF came in and ruined it all.
Auto is a shell of what it was 5 years ago or so.
Dang, didn’t realize we had an auto division.
We are overstaffed and there is a big wave of layoffs coming. Most of the long-timers are just waiting for their retirement and severance.
Would love to know. We’re tripping over one another in risk (I’m in Irving). To much overlap as honestly not enough to fill a day. 3 days in the office is like 21 hours of incarceration. Sever us. Parole us. Let us fly free.🙏🏻
