37 years. This is my 3rd layoff. I am retiring at the end of the 14 months next year so the timing was perfect. Not the way I envisioned going out with a pink slip but that is the way it goes

If a job title no longer exists, is that when displacement would occur?

Been here 13 years. Laid off twice in the last 18 months. Found a new role quickly both times. Hoping this one lasts.

Our department has had 5 layoffs since 2017 and I dodged them all.

Been here over 20 years and have survived them all, but now I want to be picked. I am hoping it will be soon as I will have to decide in next couple months to either retire or wait to be fired (I see how things are falling into place for the firing to happen be end of year). So, I really want to get layoff soon.

Limiting your ask to layoffs that did/would have directly impacted me from my 2 up manager and down, 5 total since late 2020. Averaging 2 a year. That's a very high number to me. Prior to that zero but I had only been here a handful of years at that point.

When it happened I was always on a small team (~12 or less) so several times we only lost 1 and once it was a deep cut of 4. And it was a mix of (lucky?) where sometimes it was a contractor let go, a death and positions left from attrition not being back-filled.

Dodged the bullet for over 15 years. Figure my luck has run out and now waiting.

There are so many lay offs that it is very difficult to track them all in the bank. Do you mean layoffs in your own department?

I've survived roughly 35 layoffs.. since 2021.

Never have I seen layoffs like Schart has us going through now.

Three times someone above me was let go. A little lucky I guess.
