I was drinking a beer listening to the 80's tonight. What happened to this country. What happened to this company. I used to go to work with a suit and tie, work my a-s off, now people don't even talk. I walk around town and it looks like me-h central, i used to actually enjoy walking around at night and feel the energy. I'm ready to move to Mexico, this place blows. I feel bad for the younger generations, the people were so very much better in the past.

agreed. only in my 30s but I can clearly see the collapse of society and how much worse people look overall. it's sad but I will do my best to stay close to God and avoid those who try and drag me into the darkness of this world.

Yeah, well, a lot of people could afford to live in a single income, people are generally more civilized/nicer, and the music was a he-l of a lot better to. Did you live through the 80s or just watch a movie about it? There's a reason 1984 was a total landslide and it wasn't because of greed.
We don't live in a democracy and never have. In a sense I suppose it's not your fault. Care to guess which party destroyed the education system? Hint: it's the one that started the K-K.

The 80's was the beginning of the GQP destroying the country. Now they are trying to destroy democracy all together.
I believed the difference was in OPT and H1B visa.
I felt everything went downhill since OPT visa became 6 years total in 2005.
There was a year an entire floor outsourced at another bank. They brought in consultants using H1B to manage the offshore teams. My regional head said, "Don't worry, it only impact IT." There is no karma, because He is still around and doing quite well in that bank.
Corporations and money are the root of the evil.
