Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What time do you leave the office when you come in for RTO?

I normally see most people in office leave around noon.

I can't blame people for leaving early (RTO is d-mb, especially if you're not surrounded by peers), but are the people who are leaving early making up their time once they get home?

lol @ the people thinking complying with RTO will save their jobs. They're all going to India and AI folks. Unless you're a former JPM exec in Hudson Yards, it's not "if" you'll get downsized, it's "when". HY has declared war on domestic employees and they won't stop until we're all gone.

He lies cause there is most definitely a certain number of hours that constitutes a day.

Out by 11 most days. Early in, early out. Manager says “keep doing what you are doing with RTO”

I go in for 2-4 hours. Grab a coffee, get lunch, take a poopie and then leave.

“ Tech is required to be in a minimum of 6 hours for it to count as an RTO day.”

“ If you don’t want to show up on a report your computer has to be logged in (physically or to the WF wifi) for 6 hours. It isn’t just badge swipes.”

“ Under four certainly does not count.”

LOL at all of this. Unsure if shills, trolls or just naivete. You Do You Boo!

Speaking to anything on an open forum will make no difference. All of this is known and realised but just the same as layoffs, there will not be a magical hammer drop. It will all be phased and staged. There could be post after post in a row with finite details and it would not appreciably change the speed to which this is deployed.

My LOB says 4 hrs minimum, so that’s what they get and not a minute more. Badge in a 7 AM and out at 11 AM. This entire thing is a ridiculous power game by the C suite and I’m not letting them win - if they want me gone, they’re going to pay out my severance and not axe me on some stupid technicality.

Please stop talking about this on this forum. Openly trying to game the system will only lead to tightening of the screws. First rule of fight club is you don't talk about fight club!

As always around here “it matters on your LOB”. I am also in tech on an LOB team. My manager and I have been doing tests. 5 hours counts as day in office. And it may be as low as four hours. Under four certainly does not count.

Some of us work all day without ever turning a computer on, so that criteria could be problematic.

We used to leave around noon but were recently told we have to stay in this empty office 6 hrs for it to count so that’s what I do now. Not going to give anyone a reason to fire me. I’ll play this game as long as I have to. Just give me my package, sooner the better.

I have a KoolAid drinker as a (micro) manager. RTO days mean 8 hours in Rachael’s world. No “what about so and so” or “Dave’s manager let’s them do 4 hours” or “Marcy badges in and badges out and doesn’t show on a report”. Solid 8 hours 3 days a week (excluding PTO or holidays). Dallas sucks.🤮

I stay as long as I can put up with the people around me. If someone is annoying I leave early. If it’s quiet I’ll stay well past lunch time.

I track by hours as well, not so much by time. Minimum 4hrs, 1min, max has been 6hrs because I was stuck on a tasking. I go in super early on RTO days so generally gone wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before noon though.

I like going in early, I get to see all the unnecessary jockeying for offices and these mutts attempting to mark their territories. Nothing better than rearranging everything and watching the hilarity ensue when employees arrive as I sit in an empty cube with 11 empty cubes all around me.

I stay around 4 hours. I’ve seen some who are in for anywhere from 1-2 hours before leaving. Have also seen a lot of people who stay until around 2 or so to beat the rush. But plenty of people working full days also.
