$50 K offer coming June15

Craft in the southeast will be offered another voluntary termination in exchange for $50,000 on June15.
Do not know about other districts, but I caught wind of this in Atlanta after a vendor conference.

You may get extra money to leave but not any adjustment to your hire date and pension payout. Sorry to break it to you.

I don't need a monetary incentive to leave. I'll gladly leave if T just offers me a VTP which would give me 2 years of severance pay. HAPPILY, I would go never to return to ATT! I know there are many craft employees that feel the same way and would be all too happy to depart T on those terms or whatever terms they're entitled to under their contracts.

This in the Union Contract. I sorry if you don't have it, but that doesn't make ours no good.

This person is dreaming out loud and just trying to get a reaction from people. He's pushing your buttons and hoping for a response!

There is a moa in effect until year end for craft with exception of the ET title. So to have a craft reduction the company would need to offer incentives or wait till next year. Thus 50k offer in addition to SIPP is possible.

There is no way the company is going to payout that much cash with pressure on cash flow, capex and dividends. This is a total fantasy!!!

If people were ready to leave they would have in December due to interest rate changes.

Fake News.... Company is not in a position to pay folks to leave. Not at the current attrition rate.

Got my 50k plus SIPP in 2020. That was due to covid as per offer memo.

Why are offers always made in the SE and never in the SW or west? Hasn't the SE already been hit hard over the last couple of years? Not gonna happen!

More of the same major BS! No way on earth T will offer $50k to leave when it could just layoff and dole out severance pay per contract terms. This is a stretch and none of us are buying it!

There was a vendor conference recently out west, don’t know about Atlanta. It’s possible they may target a few with this offer to reduce headcount like they did in 2020. SIPP plus 50k, great deal if you was thinking about leaving or retiring but was on the fence.

I’m sure they’d be discussing upfront SIPP at a vendor conference. SMH.
