Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How much longer…

How much longer, do you think, will Wells Fargo’s Board of Directors continue to support Charlie as CEO? Let’s say, for example:

  • Wells Fargo is still under the current Federal Asset Cap 3-5 years from now
  • The Feds hit Wells Fargo with new significant penalties for taking too long to fix mismanagement and oversight issues
  • Wells Fargo’s pattern of unlawful behavior continues to unfold as new violations and customer abuses are uncovered
  • Wells Fargo suffers a major system outage/hack causing significant upheaval for it’s customers and possibly the financial system

*Wells Fargo’s stock price continues to underperform compared to it’s competitors

I think our BOD will continue to keep Charlie in his job no matter what comes down the road. Why? Because the average pay for a Director is $360K/year for minimal output. Removing Charlie puts their easy-money at risk and is an admission they made a poor choice and have failed in their fiduciary responsibilities. And, last but not least, because The Old Boys Club wants The Old Boys Club to continue to thrive and maintain control.

What do you think?

I hope Charlie gets a clue reading these posts on this payoff board that his employees despise him and we have zero respect for him

He has a year, two tops. His task is two fold: Dump as many US employees as possible as cheaply as possible and get out from under the asset cap by any means necessary. If he can do that, he'll create the narrative that he turned things around and will happily move on to the next victim company. If he can't, the BoD will can him by the end of year 2 simply as a move to try to bolster confidence and stock prices. You can only blame the previous regime for so long. If I blamed my predecessor 2 years later I'd be laughed out of the room. Charlie is at 4. At 5 it becomes a complete joke and at 6 investors aren't laughing anymore.

Maybe the layoff board can bring all these love messages for Charlie and package them into a book for a parting gift. Be sure his mom gets one so she can see what a pathetic so she raised and how chainsaw Charlie got his name.

This town hall again reiterated what we all know. Charlie is an incompetent mo--n. He could not run a sh&t show. How he ever got to where he is only explains his mafia connections.

  1. Corrupt

H. Hated
A. As@hole
R. Re--rd

  1. Liar
  2. Incompetent

E. Egotistic

There were other choices words that could be used that were more descriptive of how his employees and customers view him.

The BOD will keep Charlie for as long as he does their bidding. He’s just an inarticulate puppet. He’s not the one making the decisions. The BOD will only remove him if they need a scapegoat.

First they need to find another member of the tiny hat club to replace him.

Just take a look at the WF BOD…no action will be taken. The newest one from some online mental health company was appointed late 2022.. don’t expect much from this BOD.

Watching um the um town um hall and um maybe I um should take um a drink um every time um CS um says um. Um.

Im afraid if we suggest he take a toastmaster class that then becomes a compliance course for the rest of us (as occurred when he said something insensitive about lack of diversity amongst WF leadership a while back)

Not to mention, Wells Fargo was not able to take advantage of the failed banks. These deals usually are really profitable, and Wells is sitting on the sidelines.
