Is mortgage getting hit once again?

Mortgage is dead. RIP
Stupid d-mb decisions with these 4 hubs. Zero talent left. Who’s d-mb idea was this? That person should be fired. Why on earth would you layoff talent just because they don’t live by one of your hubs? Take a guess what is left in Charlotte? Wachovia id--ts that we inherited when Wachovia went belly up. Charlie has no brain

Does that mean multiple branch closures or branch employee layoffs?
After last week they actually did get rid of a lot of middle managers in mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing. It's pretty bare bones now, a lot of good people let go and a few remain, basically enough for a purchase market only. As soon as rates do go down any anyone who bought a house in the last year could benefit from a refi, mortgage will be completely swamped overnight. Birdbrain management only focusing on their P&L for tomorrow instead of next year.
when is the real dead weight going to get cut--middle mgmt?
Only the bottom of the barrel is left in mortgage. They got rid of our best processors in Charlotte and left us with the d-mbest processors. Did they honestly think there was any talent in Charlotte? My God look what we got from Wachovia. What d-mb A$& decisions. Please rehire our processors that you laid off before the competitors get them. They can work out of sales offices or bank branches. D-MBEST DECISION EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’
Consumer Lending Shared Services needs to go!
They need to gut Auto. Sitting on an all team meeting now and these talking heads are talking out of their backsides. What a bunch of phonies.
Mid June is the next cut. Expect retail branch consolidations.
Mortgage is still over staffed, next cuts will be in June.
No. Mortgage is safe going forward. Been cut down pretty slim already.
Charlie is good with staffing in mortgage right now. If rates drop he may add some people.
Is there anybody even left there?
