Lawsuit: Wells Fargo should have known about Las Vegas Ponzi scheme

A court-appointed receivership in charge of untangling a massive, multimillion-dollar Ponzi scheme authorities said was orchestrated by a Las Vegas attorney has filed a lawsuit against Wells Fargo, accusing the bank of helping to facilitate the scheme.

This is a result of

  1. Lack of proper internal controls
  2. Wells Fargo prioritizing profits above oversight
  3. Outdated inadequate technology which should have flagged this activity at the beginning
  4. Faulty escalation procedures (Who are we escalating to? India?)
  5. Laying off experienced employees who knew how to operate around WFC’s phoney “for show” procedures.

Seriously, our Senior Management is a joke. This is why WFC is still under the Federal Asset Cap.

We are all witnessing the rapid downfall of the current Rethuglican party in the US. Essentially another ponzi scheme that has been selling fears, lies, smears, conspiracies, division, hypocrisy, fake religious values , homophobia and veiled racism. Nothing in the way of actual policy and legislation that benefits their deaf and blind followers. It took a while but now 80+ % of the country is sick and tired of their BS. 2024 will finally be the end for them.
