Of course the guy who wrote the article looks like he's 80! Me going into the office when no one else from my team is there and taking all my calls over Teams, does not teach me "culture", unless the culture is to have inept managers micro-managing, because that is my experience here at this toxic company.

D-mbest article ever. I was a staunch work from the office individual and almost never worked from home pre-COVID. I managed teams across the US and in several of my roles didn't have a single individual in either my management structure or my direct team in the same office with me. WF is not a local company - other than a few production hubs. My most supportive managers and best performing team members were NOT co-located with me. The only on-sight manager I ever had was the worst manager I ever had.
I hated my coworkers pre Covid. This isn’t applicable to me at all.
Ya that article is BS, the "answers" are incorrect. Where one does work is at work. As for the common culture that can be very ideological and not inclusive of all cultures.
