Let’s do the geography on all these top hogs in mortgage processing on their locations. Washington DC. Jacksonville Fl Princeton NJ Frederick Md and the managers in Lexington NC Tampa FL New Rochelle NY Pinehurst NC and Peters creek NC. Now exactly why are all these managers remote and no where near the 4 hub locations? are they traveling in to set examples to us of RTO? How about processors in Raleigh Winston Salem pinehurst peters creek all 100 plus miles from the Charlotte hub. Are they driving in?

There may be 100(?) tech folks working remote left in Frederick.
What/who is left working in Frederick? and where?
I was hired full time remote 5 years ago, not in or near a hub. No one on my team in my city. Now I have the pleasure of commuting 3 hours a day to a downtown high rise with up to 6 people on the whole floor on any given day. There have been times where I was the only person on the floor all day. I loved my job last year. I was trusted to get the job done because it was more about results and productivity. Now I live in a nanny state, where my time and location is monitored. I'm actively looking for employment elsewhere now. This place is the drizzling sh!ts.
There are still people living in Frederick that are supposed to be working in the Charlotte site
The Frederick site is closed and they’ve been laying people off in small batches from there for years.
Our manager kept assuring us that we were safe from RYO and the plan was to let us all continue to work remote. By was she wrong. Not my fault I do not live near a hub. That was not a term of employment when I was hired. Who chose these hubs anyway. Now states like Florida Georgia Alabama South Carolina Tennessee. Etc are all out of working in operations for WFHM. So sad to close up business in mortgage.
It’s to prop up commercial real estate and the cities local economy. Local government relies on the business’ prosperity. Collaboration, nope, otherwise all jobs would be here at US hub locations.
Who says their managers aren't getting notes on them? They may be going through the same stuff as tye rest of us. It's not like they broadcast it in their LinkedIn profile
Chill.
I suspect that some of those remote managers fall into diversity buckets and therefore the bank is ensuring they have their legal ducks in a row.
Uhhhhh, maybe because they haven’t gotten rid of them yet, like the rest of the people who haven’t returned from RTO? Did you not hear about the email?
Agreed. Why are these people all still here? How are they going to RTO? This RTO is getting shadier by the minute. Would love for Charlie to respond since he trolls this site.
It doesn't make sense my design. It's not designed for "collaboration", it's designed to tank morale. Once you accept that reality, every single decision and talking points from the top makes perfect sense.
