Since there are employees that are not near a hub but being allowed to stay and work remote I am going to demand my job back. Otherwise I have an attorney that is willing to sue for 4 times my salary. Don’t believe all the threats in our severance package. According to my attorney not enforceable and a jury will make sure Wells Fargo pays.

well, I think there are far more things to be worried about then being employed and getting a paycheck every other week. I do not like RTO much either but you need to get a grip.

Sadly I'm hearing that the main reason for those that were laid off is their proximity to a site. Not being able to be on site was a reason for being laid off.

In Mpls here. Most other companies around us started 4 days a week in office. RBC being the biggest one. 4 days a week is coming here too. September 2023.

The inconsistencies in the application of this policy are intentional, and specifically designed the frustrate you.

How do we all get laid off because we do not live near Charlotte hub yet you have people In Raleigh,Winston Salem,Virginia Beach, etc that are still here working? They obviously get to stay and work remote. Managers don’t live near Charlotte and they get to work remote. One manager lives in Maryland. That is no where near Charlotte and that manager is still here. I see lawsuits galore for disparate treatment. So for the rest of us FRTO

I’m in Charlotte and go in 3 days a week. I work with a guy in Asheville who is totally remote (and in the same business). Yes, there is no standard policy; it’s exceptions all over the place, side deals, etc. I also know of a person in Raleigh, 15 minutes from the office, who is remote. I work with people who live all over, some in the middle of nowhere. Many promoted last time. Know people who moved during Covid, nothing happened to them. There is no policy, it’s whatever goes with your manager, team, business, etc. Completely unfair. They are hassling me and others about going in 3 days a week yet there are people on our team who are remote and getting promoted. I thought people in non hubs were going to end up losing their jobs?

It will be 5 days quickly so don’t get comfortable. They are just letting people get their feet wet. Remote is gone and hybrid will be gone too. Wells is hoping people will leave my strong arming and threatening. I am not going back. FRTO. Let them fire me. I will sue them since they have people living too far from the hubs so they made secret side deals thinking none of us would find out. I know employees and managers in North Carolina that should have been laid off that were not since they do not live near the Charlotte hub.

We went to 4 days a week a few weeks ago in CMS and it makes no sense. The 3/2 hybrid was working just fine in my opinion.
