Sorry, Bombay and Mumbai are the same city...name was changed from Bombay to Mumbai in 1996...get your facts straight, Jack!
The GRE website lists 15 locations. It was updated on 4-26-23.

Bullsh*t on the "60 days to move to hub location" comments. Company will never pay to relocate anyone except top execs, who are mostly all already in Dallas (or ATL). Requiring rank-and-file management employees to relocate on their own dime would be considered mass layoffs.
Just think of the huge cost savings when folks are going to be required to move to a HUB city location. Notification set to go out in June with a 60-day notice to relocate, or off the payroll in 14 days. First of many expense cuts to meet the $6.5B expense reduction for 2023. This is just a warm up to what's to come in 2024.
Why is it so difficult for Stankey to communicate to all employees what the hub cities are?
Basking Ridge NJ hasn't been an AT&T building in years, it's a Verizon building.
Bedminster is shutting down & minimal employees will be sent to a smaller office in the area IF they want to go in.
Middletown has been dismantled & very few offices remain.
Chicago already confirmed to not be on the hub list. After June layoffs most management will be offered 60 days to relocate to a hub city or be off payroll in two weeks.
Hub city? What's a hub city and what does it mean to me? I'm in Chicago Illinois!
Any city that has more than 50 employees in the area is a collaboration opportunity.

What org is having to relocate? 10 days? Not much time, is this their way of quiet surplus?
Chicago is not a hub, I have to relo to Dallas to keep my job, have 10 days to accept or have 60 days to find a new job.

How difficult it must be to name 5 - 6 hub locations, then force all VP's to accept it. There is no unifying these VP's, they all think they can call their own shots!

Steve Jobs bought this company 20 years with his exclusive distribution of the iPhone. It gave AT&T a life raft and convinced far too many AT&T executives they were Silicon Valley level executives, when they are Allen, Texas level executives.

This is stated confidently but is really not at all feasible. Those large teams that support work all around the country would simply cease to exist.
And I get that may be the point, but I don’t see how all of that work could just stop and there be any expectation the company could deliver on critical things it needs to accomplish.

While I really like Bedminster, it hardly qualifies as a hub. There are not that many employees there anymore. Stankey wants to shutdown Bedminster and move the remaining employees into another economy based leased facility.
I ain't buying it, Cali needs to be included here, any location, San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. Any one of these fine cities would make a great hub location.
