I truly hope the next person to tell me layoffs are "nothing personal" so we shouldn't blame the company is laid off the following day. I'm tired of a-s-kissers who keep defending WFC over things that are undefendable. No, we don't need this many layoffs for the company to "thrive." Do you people even hear yourselves sometime?

Maybe shart should worry more about how that negativity will have. Morale being intentionally flushed down the toilet is worse for the company than it is for us. Sc--w that guy, his merry band of robber Barrons won't be around much longer before they go to run another company into the ground. No one will miss them.

We have had more than enough warning signs and proof to run the other way. Either we wait for WF to do something to us or we start being proactive.

Yeah, it's not self serving at all for execs to create the situation where "business needs" mean downsizing you, and then blaming it on business needs rather than their own actions. The only business need this company has right now is to fire Shart and Powell.
Agreed! It is personal when you worked for the company for 32 years and they ruined your retirement plans. At my age finding another job with another company is going to be impossible as age discrimination will play into this. Thank you for posting the first factual true statement!!!!
