On the worst job comment: I have to honestly say in my 14 years here at AT&T I have had 5 bosses. FOur of which were some of THE BEST bosses I have ever had. THey all truly cared and had my back while I worked with them. ANyone of them would have done anything for me to ensure I was not over worked, unhappy, or taken advantage of. 1 Boss, (THe absolute worse boss I hav ever had in my entire life - was a micromanaging, pill of a woman that had something to prove... she was better than anyone else (in her own mind), but actually was only in this job to self promote herself... I am not against woman bosses, some of which are great, and fall under the description I had of my best experiences above, but this one was the worst! Unfortunately, Great bosses hands are somewhat tied because of the absolute CR-P leadership ruining a great company. THey make these Multi-Billion dollar bad company decisions with no repercussions, and when the multi billion dollar loss is realized the answer is to cut hard working, dedicated employee jobs (only for those id--ts to get a higher bonus for saving the company money... viscous cycle and will be the downfall of this company.. until then, unless a better offer comes along.. stay for the pay and benefits (which are constantly getting reduced!)

This is the absolute worst job I've ever had. I've had bad bosses before, but at this company, bad bosses are as abundant as bacteria. Totally incompetent and clueless. All they know how to do is cover their ar-e from bad decision to bad decision, and kiss up to management. "Leadership" and "AT&T" should never be in the same sentence.

I agree. Compared to the a$$hole I work for before, this place(Leg-T) is great. Got worse after Ma Bell's child stuffed her the chest freezer and started cashing her checks.
Big layoffs coming after that huge free cash flow miss this morning.

I’m an Engineer that is purposely quitting in 1-2 years. I have had many offers from other companies and won’t have all the added job responsibilities or unreasonable expectations due to poor decisions that resulted in decimation of our department, it’s nuts.
No one is safe.
