Once again I get to reset my sign that reads "It has been ___ days since the last layoff at Wells Fargo." to zero. I put it up as a joke with a coworker about a year ago, but it stopped being funny a while ago. I don't remember the last time the number reached two digits. Every week it's something.

If they want to cut costs, there's about $100M worth of comp in Hudson Yards that is low hanging fruit.

200,000 people work here. And the company is in cost-cutting mode. Charlie has been very clear about his intentions. It's no fun having displacements hanging over everyone's heads but it is our reality and I doubt that will change any time soon.
