Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Des Moines

WF needs to axe this location. There are way too many silos here.

@1pkv+1mcqjzaz - ditto.
CA has the most "WOKE" ignorant, self important for no apparent reason resources in the country.
Have the left their state in the last 10 years?! Good Grief CA is a dump that is failing in every way.

Des Moines empoyees in my experience are the easiest, least obnoxious people to work with. I never want to work with anyone from CA ever again.

What WF needs to "axe" is the location strategy. Does any sane person really believe that narrowing the potential pool of talent from 330M people down to 20M will result in obtaining top talent? Yeah, neither does anyone else. Herding people to these locations has more to do with getting rid of domestic workers then anything else. We're being herded into the village church and Hudson Yards is chaining the doors shut and lighting their torches.

They are all poor with no talent. Open up again around the country and bring our talented people back. What an id--t move to corral people into four locations that are all horrible. You get what you pay for which is no one worth a damn.

Oh. And while you’re at it, comment on your own post 7 to 8 times versus just the one or two you are currently doing

OP - please pick up the pace and post three or four daily swipes about Des Moines versus your usual one. Really enlighten us with your infinite wisdom

I work in DSM. F you. I've been to CLT, San Fran, Jax, Beaverton, Roanoke, Philly, and STL locations for this company in nearly 20 years here.

The overall level of incompetence and low skill sets in workers at all locations south of Roanoke was astounding.

@vhy+1mcqjzaz OP here. I wouldn’t say low functioning, it’s more of a cultural issue. All of us at the Des Moines location thinks we’re far superior to other WF hub locations. It’s literally a cult here, where sub-cults and silos exist everywhere. Also, you can’t sneeze without everyone gossiping about how you sneezed.
