It is said that by June, it had upped its requirement to three days per week for everyone. Also should spend reasonable time in office, not just badge swiping.

if you are a salaried worker, by definition you are not paid by the hour. It's getting into dicey legal ground if there were to be monitoring and penalizing of salaried people for not working a certain amount of hours, or by extension, a minimum number of hours in the office for jobs that are not site-specific (I.e. don't have to be performed in a specific physical location in order to be effective). I suspect that's why they haven't gone there yet (not yet requiring a minimum number of hours in office for it to count).
That said - if people keep abusing and trying to game the system by just badging in and badging out, or only staying for an hour or two, i'd also bet that they'll take action and tighten down with monitoring for a specific threshold of hours..
FRTO and F Charlie and his stagecoach.
I'll go to a building as much as they want, but I'm not working there. Work happens at home, goofing off, errr collaboration, happens in the useless building. Their choice. F Hudson Yards, every last one of them.
I badge in, stay for 3 hours and badge out…been doing this since October 2022…and I haven’t gotten on any lists. Also my manager said they aren’t tracking time you are on the network. FRTO
Swipe and leave. Everyone does it
FRTO and F Charlie!
Not everyone. Our ICS team is all remote.
One thing I know with absolute certainty is as of right now, 4 hrs and 1 minute on network counts with badge in and out. Next week I will know if it’s actually my badge swipe logging me or if it’s the network connectivity.
Pretty sure there's states where a work day is defined as anything over 4 hrs. Cali probable. Regardless, these wanna be commissars in Hudson Yards can go F themselves. They are the #1 obstacle to actual work getting done and yet they think they are running anything. If you fired the entire OC and replaced them with ChatGPT this company would be demonstrably better off. These fools not only have no idea what they are doing, they are extremely expensive at the same time. They should be first in line for layoffs.
We think it is 6 hours in the office. I usually come in 4 days and then stay 4-5 hours on the 4th day. The other days are at least 6. I would like to know what does count as a “day”.
Who cares. FRTO
Old news, most of tech is 3 days in. I recently found out that some groups in tech are exempted from RTO for one reason or another.
In our LOB "reasonable time" is defined as 4 hours. That's 4 hours on the network at the location you are assigned to. Many locations only have swiping coming in so they need to look at time on the network.
The 4 hours is totally subject to change (which I suspect they will do). It has been learned by people experimenting with time in the office and then comparing that to the RTO reports. Your LOB may have different rules around duration in the office.
Frankly, the best way to prevent the rule from going to 4 to 6 hours (or something like that) is for people not to abuse the system. If there is a clear pattern that people are working exactly 4 hours I would anticipate them raising the number.
some tech are 1x some are 3x. WF can't get their sh*t together!

@1bvb+1mNsehx3 it has been 1 day a week for people in tech :)
So you're saying that Charlie is a liar. That tracks, he is.
What's coming is badge swipe plus 6 hours minimum logged on to an IP address at your assigned building. If you show up on the naughty report, it will go against your performance review and eventually they will fire people. Unsure exactly when will start. But, it's coming.
its been 3 days a week since March 2022 id--ts. And you badge swipers are causing a minimum hour requirement. Thats whats coming.
There are tons of remote jobs. Just not at Wells Fargo where our senior management is like a bunch of old dinosaurs. Funny that HR reps are scattered all over the country working remote. FRTO. I am staying remote too and F their reports
F Hudson Yards. Every last one of them. We will win the RTO War.
All the Down voters and naysayers buckle up
On an Agile team, and it’s been 3 days min/week since the end of April. 🤷♀️
FRTO. If I have to go I swipe and leave
WXPS should be in office 7 days a week to get their s__to figured out. Most incompetent org in IT.
Wxps is already at 3 days mandatory office. It will eventually be 4 then 5 in time.
Agile teams 3x/week RTO is coming unfortunately too…I am actively applying now. FRTO
@azr+1mNsehx3 I'll let you know after my bi-weekly meeting w/mgr today.... I'm a badge swiper only!! No one on my assigned floor to "collaborate" with.....or that I want to!!
Has anyone doing the badge swiping had anything mentioned to them? Going from full remote, for years, to 3 in, I am just not willing to do. Wouldn't be working with anyone on site anyway..
No. Agile teams are still 1 day a week. Some still have WFH exceptions.
what is considered reasonable? that leaves a lot up to interpretation
Source? Oh that’s right, just more disinformation.
